According to BEAHIVE's website, this pioneering coworking space was established in 2009 in Beacon as a hub for entrepreneurs, creatives, tech enthusiasts, nonprofit leaders, activists, and community organizers.
The flagship location, originally situated in the iconic Telephone Building on Main St., relocated in 2023 to a newly renovated space at 6 Eliza St., and this plant-filled environment features an open, airy communal lounge and kitchen with large storefront windows, multiple meeting rooms, privacy pods, and 14 private offices, fostering a vibrant community atmosphere, per its website.

Founder Scott Tillitt expressed his gratitude for the award.
